Availability
While we update our listings frequently, animal availability changes rapidly. Birds are sold on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure fairness for all our fellow poultry enthusiasts.
Payment Details
- Payment is due in full at the time of pickup; we do not accept deposits or hold animals.
- Birds are secured by the first buyer to complete payment and arrange pickup.
- Accepted payment methods: Cash, Venmo, and Zelle.
Bird Health & Care
We take great pride in our well-tended flock and ensure every bird is healthy and thriving before they leave. However, because their environment and care are outside our control once they depart, we cannot offer health guarantees after pickup.
Farm Policies & Purchasing
Guaranteed Pullet Policy
Some birds are specifically offered as guaranteed pullets. If a bird sold under this policy shows clear signs of being a rooster within 14 days of pickup, please contact us. The bird must be returned in good health within that 14-day window. Prior approval is required before any bird is returned. For biosecurity reasons, we do not accept unannounced returns. Birds returned without prior approval may not be eligible for exchange under this guarantee. Birds showing signs of illness, injury, neglect, parasites, or other conditions that may pose a biosecurity risk to our flock are not eligible for exchange under this guarantee, and we reserve the right to refuse any returned bird that appears unhealthy. Once the bird has been determined to meet the requirements of this guarantee and returned, we will offer a replacement pullet of the same breed or a bird of comparable value based on current availability. If a suitable replacement is not immediately available, we will work with you to arrange a replacement when one becomes available. Please note that buyers are responsible for all transportation. This guarantee applies only to birds explicitly listed as "guaranteed pullets."
Sexing Commitment
We sex our chicks and juveniles to the best of our professional ability, but results are not guaranteed unless specifically stated. Adult birds are represented as accurately as possible based on our farm knowledge.
Pickup & Biosecurity Protocols
To maintain the health of our animals, farm visits are not permitted. We offer convenient farm-gate pickup and local meeting options. Please bring a secure crate or carrier for transportation. We reserve the right to restrict entry for biosecurity reasons.
Right of Refusal
Blue Boogie Farm reserves the right to decline a sale if we feel a bird might be placed in an environment that is unsafe or unsuitable for its well-being.
