At Blue Boogie Farm, we specialize in Silkies, including a variety of beautiful and hard-to-find specialty colors. We are also developing breeding groups for Cream Legbars and colorful egg-laying crosses. Our future offerings may include Cream Legbars, Marans, Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, and other unique farm favorites. In addition to our breeding pens, we maintain a mixed personal flock that helps make life on the farm colorful and fun. All of our breeding birds are chosen for temperament as well as beauty, helping us raise chickens that are not only visually striking but also calm, friendly, and well-suited for families and backyard flocks.

We’re located in Lutz, Florida near the Tampa Premium Outlets, I-75 and State Road 56.

Yes! We focus on calm, socialized birds that make wonderful pets and backyard companions for both first-time and experienced chicken keepers. Check out our Flock Resources page for recommendations, tips, tricks and overall chiken knowledge.

Yes! Many of our chicks are incubated and hand-raised right here on the farm with lots of gentle interaction from a young age.

Availability changes throughout the season, but we may offer chicks, started pullets, laying hens, and fertilized hatching eggs.

Our flock includes breeds that lay blue, green, cream, tan, speckled and dark brown eggs for a colorful egg basket. Egg colors will vary based on current available chickens.

At this time, we primarily offer local pickup in the Lutz/Tampa area.

We are currently working toward NPIP certification as we continue growing the farm responsibly and professionally.

We raise our birds with a strong focus on health, temperament, and hands-on care. Our goal is to provide beautiful, friendly poultry that become true members of the family.

We recommend bringing a secure box or pet carrier lined with paper towels to help safely transport your new birds home comfortably and stress-free.
